Who instructs
Solicitors, insurers and medico-legal agencies instruct where the nature and conditions of employment — the physical demands of the job over time — are relevant to injury, capacity or causation. Instructions are accepted directly or, for WorkSafe-related matters, through your preferred medico-legal agency.
What you receive
You receive a reasoned expert report, usually on a file review of employment records, position descriptions, medical material and related papers. The report describes the physical nature and conditions of the work and answers the questions in your letter of instruction.
